‘Affordable art’ are two words that don’t tend to sit together in my world. It’s my own fault really, as I seem to have a rare affliction which causes me to gravitate towards expensive things. Unfortunately this isn’t exclusive to art – no matter the retail surrounding, I seem to have a knack for falling in love with the most expensive item in any shop. This is particularly trying, as my expensive taste and modest budget can’t be considered anything other than sworn enemies.
But to my surprise (and delight), I recently stumbled across these prints by Emily Isles, a designer and illustrator based in Edinburgh, whose Italian Inventions range will soon be hanging on my walls. Beautiful and affordable, you can buy these prints and others by visiting Emily’s online shop.
