There’s no place like home

Food, and how in one way or another it unites us all, is what inspired this blog. But along the way, I have realised that it’s not my only passion. Food by itself is still a wonderful thing, but add friends, family and a place to call home to the mix and even the most mediocre of meals can be elevated to something spectacular.

Thinking along these lines made me realise something rather obvious – I love my home. Yes, I do get frustrated with leaking roofs and fragile windows, but that was the reason I bought a house that was over one hundred years old. And it’s why I incessantly read home and interiors magazines, eternally looking for the next project to transform another area of our home. So, naturally, I was excited by the beautiful autumn/winter French Connection homeware collection.

Luxurious bedding, on-trend lighting and glorious tableware grace the beautiful catalogue, which is stacked full of inspiring ideas for your home. I can say with absolute certainty, that the Chunky Knit throw will be keeping me warm this winter.
