The final three

Cuckoo's Bakery Black Bottom Cupcake

It’s that time of year again when we get set to bid The Great British Bake Off adieu for another year, which makes me pretty sad. In fact, the only thing that is keeping my smile the right way round today is the fact that I have a heist of cupcakes from Cuckoo’s Bakery to get me through. Come 8pm tonight, I’ll be snuggled up on the sofa under a huge woolen throw with the fire burning, a pot of tea to my left and a cupcake (or two) to my right.

Tonight’s all about who’s going to take the coveted title, and with that I’ll leave you with who I would like to win. Nothing would make me happier tonight than to see Nadiya be crowned Queen of the Bakes. For me, that would be the icing on the cake.

Will you be watching the Great British Bake Off tonight? Who would you like to win?

I’ve never watched GBBO before (sacrilege, right?), but I’ve been following bloggers who’ve been trying the baking challenges. Looks tough! I’ll for sure be watching next season!

I definitely was not brave enough to try any of the bake alongs – I definitely don’t have that level of skill. It’s worth watching it when it comes back on Gianni, it’s a great show!x

I’m so sad it’s over! I was an emotional wreck by the time it ended.
