Tales from the weekend #2

Autumn is definitely on its way, but before it takes hold entirely, summer gave it one last push this weekend, with a Saturday that made us re-think all of our plans and head straight for the beach.

We played in the sand, ate lobster and chips and enjoyed the beautiful seaside town of North Berwick. It might be the last time we get to feel the sand in our toes this year, but boy did we make the most of it. What did you do at the weekend?

A weekend at the beach sounds like such so much fun, it looks beautiful too! I didn’t do much this weekend, sadly. I just went over to my sister-in-law’s and had dinner and watched a movie. It was fun though :D

Oh man, that lobster and chips looks utterly mouth-watering! Reg and I had a BBQ on Saturday for his b-day and then went out for breakfast at our favorite diner to recover from the hangover the next morning. It was definitely a bit of a foodie weekend for me too!

Oh the beach – I am so excited for when we get a car and can chuck a bag and ourselves in the car and drive to a brilliant beach as there are so many close by. What a grand way to say goodbye to summer! x
