St Andrews

After last weekend’s visit to Glasgow, we seemed to have caught the bug for adventures out of town, so once again we jumped in the Mini and this time we headed for St Andrews.

It was a beautiful day, perfect for taking in the town, climbing the ruins and watching some golf. We also had a great lunch at Mitchell’s Deli before heading back to the capital.

I always forget how beautiful St Andrews is. We had a lovely day, and as you can see in the last picture, I even dressed the part. After all, I’m sure it’s frowned upon to wander around St Andrews if you’re not wearing at least a little bit of tweed.

Whenever we are over in Dundee lately we seem to end up popping to St Andrews to play on the Himalayas putting green. I recommend doing it (but maybe not when it is you and three very competitive brothers as that gets very dull very quickly)!

I do love your outfit too. Maybe when we next go it could be just the two of us and we can eat at that deli – I always look longingly in the window but have never been in!

Thank you, I love a bit of tweed! And yes to the deli, it is gorgeous and a great place to eat!

Aww, I love St Andrews – not been in ages but used to stop for a sugar mouse and then chips at P&Ms! Love the last photo of you too, so pretty!
