Spend it wisely

We were bowled over by the generosity of our friends and family when we got married earlier this month, and after two years of saving for our wedding, it feels strange to be buying things for our home again. John Lewis is always one of my first stops when it comes to almost anything we need for the flat, which explains why so many people gave us John Lewis gift vouchers.

In a bid not to spend all of our vouchers on fancy candles (a very real scenario in my world), I’ve made a wish list, and you know how much I love a list. So here are the things that are firmly on our radar to buy with our vouchers. Naturally they are all available to from John Lewis. Which item would you choose?

1. KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer 2. Le Creuset Oval Casserole
3. John Lewis Croft Collection Ceiling Shade 4. John Lewis Colosseum Narrow Bookcase
5. Orla Kiely Wallflower picnicware 6. Ascaso Dream Versatile Plus coffee machine
7. Pip Studio Shabby Chic cappuccino cup and saucer 8. John Lewis Croft Collection Tiny Check Stripe Cushion 9. John Lewis Regent Stripe 800 Thread Count Bedding

I got John Lewis vouchers recently and am going for casserole dishes with them. Lots of use and lovely to look at too, but the bedding looks amazing too!

You’ll get so much use out of them, great call! The bedding is gorgeous though, isn’t it?

Our Kitchenaid still is one of my favourite purchases. I use it all the time and doesn’t even live in the kitchen yet. I can’t wait to have a house with a big enough kitchen to keep it in.

Love the light fitting too. Well, actually, I love all of it!

KitchenAid’s are so pretty, I think you can keep them in any room in the house :-)

The light fitting is gorgeous, isn’t it?x
