Not so well rested

I saw this card on Pinterest today and it made me laugh. Coming from someone who is currently battling jet lag, it sums up exactly how I’m feeling at the moment.

Last night I went to bed at 11pm and fell asleep at 4am. I was up for work at 7am. Right about now my body has no idea where it’s at, but was it all worth it? Hell yes. New York was everything I thought it would be and more, and as soon as my body is a bit more clued-up on what it should be doing and when, I’ll fill you in on some of the highlights from my first taste of the Big Apple. Until then, I hope you are all well (rested).

I never do very well with jet lag. I think the best you can do is to give it some time and your body will eventually get in sync. I hope it’s sooner rather than later x

Jetlag is never easy :( I remember when I travelled from Denmark to China. When I arrived it was midnight in Denmark, but in China it was around 7am and the day had just started. It was a horrible fight to stay awake the whole day (where I did a lot of sightseeing with the rest of my class)!
    Hope you’ll feel better soon!

    Hugs from Denmark x

Can’t wait to hear about all your adventures! Also, I think this postcard describes every night owl ever… I definitely remember feeling this way all through high school.

It’s a great postcard, isn’t it Cat. I’m hoping I’ll swing it the other way round soon :-)

Haha, what a funny card!! I bought one recently which had this text on: ‘Of course a woman has to do house holding – but have I to do with it?’ I had to laugh so badly:o) The woman on the card is arrogantly looking into the camera while drinking a cocktail:o)
Have a nice day, even with your jet lag:o)
