Mother’s Day gifts for less than £20

Mother’s Day in the UK is but a hop, skip and a sleep away. On the day itself, I’m having all the mothers round; my mum, my gran and Rob’s mum. I’m serving a light lunch of spinach and caramelised onion muffins (recipe to follow) and then we’ll be having cupcakes from Cuckoo’s Bakery and a glass of Prosecco. I can’t wait!

Normally we don’t do huge gifts for Mother’s Day in our family – instead, we prefer to spend the day together and I get my mum just a little something. But it can be expensive, so if you’re doing Mother’s Day on a budget, I’ve picked nine of the best gifts I could find for £20 or less.

Mother's day gift list
1. Hotel Chocolat Goody Bag, £18. 2. Hobbs Silver Lucy Earrings, £19. 3. Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, £19. 4. Kew Gardens Damson and Jasmine Candle, £10. 5. Deliciously Ella, £7.99. 6. Orla Kiely Optic Stem iPhone Case, £17.95. 7. Marks & Spencer Pressed Glass Vase, £20. 8. Laura Ashley Mini Covent Garden Duck Alarm Clock, £11.25. 9. Cath Kidston Cranhem Stanley Mug, £6.50.

Another place to find great deals on Mother’s Day gifts that don’t break the bank is My Voucher Codes, where you’ll find discount codes for a range of great presents.

Would you buy any of these gifts for your mum? What are your plans for Mother’s Day?

Great picks!! I still have a couple months here, but it’s never too early to start planning. Last year we were lucky that my parents were out here visiting us and Aaron’s mom isn’t that far away, so everyone got together for brunch and a hike. That won’t be the case this year, but I guess I can’t always have things my way. My mom is pretty into her new iPhone, so a pretty case would be perfect!

Oooh, these are great gifts. I think my mom would love those earrings. She’s planning to be here during US Mother’s Day, which is perfect b/c we can have all these big plans without worrying about Mother’s Day crowds :D x

Thanks for stopping by my blog Chiara! :) Really glad that you’ve done so because I’m loving reading yours.

I reaaaaaally wanted to get the Deliciously Ella book, not for my mum though as she doesn’t really know how to read english (she’s portuguese) and I’m glad Mother’s Day in Portugal isn’t celebrated until May, so I don’t need to worry about it for now hehe

Hope you have a nice one with all the mums in your life! :)
