It comes in threes

A badly leaking roof. A nasty letter from the taxman. A broken microwave. I could go on with the events of my weekend, but since bad luck comes in threes, I’m not roping anything else in with this cosmic disaster, or I’ll be living proof that hitting that third bout of bad luck in no way guarantees you immunity from any further pitfalls.

So to cheer myself up, I thought I’d share a few more pictures from my recent trip to Nice. If anything else goes wrong I’ll be jumping on the first plane bound for the Cote d’Azur.

Wow, it looks wonderful there. And sunflowers are the most cheerful flowers possible I think! Hope you have a wonderful week to make up for the weekend. Although the weather today is certainly not ideal to cheer anyone up! Except maybe ducks. You should definitely go and get a cupcake from Cuckoo’s, that might help a bit :)

Wow, what gorgeous photos! My favorite is the 4th, overlooking the Mediterranean. I’ve never been to Nice, but I’ve always wanted to go. Perhaps someday. ;-) Greetings from Atlanta.
