Happy New Year to all of my lovely readers. Pardon the recent silence, but despite plans for lots of Christmas and New Year themed posts, I decided to take a break from everything over the festive period that didn’t involve eating, drinking and watching Gossip Girl (a massive guilty pleasure, I know).
So now January has arrived and the time has come for me to part ways with chocolate, alcohol, copious amounts of carbs – not the good kind – and my time spent with Chuck Bass. With 13 weeks until I get married and six weeks until my final dress fitting, those eight lbs (yes, EIGHT) that I gained gorging myself over the past two weeks aren’t magically going to disappear. But I have a plan of action. There will be green smoothies. I will visit the gym three times a week and I will use my diary properly this year to keep me on track … just as soon as I’ve finished that last box of Ferrero Rochers.
