Guy Fawkestail

Remember, remember the 5th of November. What you also need to remember is to take something warm with you to drink whilst you watch the sky light up. It’s undeniably one of the prettiest nights of the year and so if you want a hot cocktail to keep you warm, pop on over to AO at Home where you can find my recipe for a Guy Fawkestail. It’s delicious and will definitely help to keep you warm.

Excellent and timely – we don’t have bonfire night here in Canada and I miss it so dearly that I am going to Niagara Falls to watch fireworks, imagine it is bonfire night here too and make a range of bonfire treats!!

I’m not too sure what this is, but from talking to bloggers this is the day that you all light up fireworks, right? I THINK? It’s so strange to me to think about watching fireworks in November! We usually have them in July for Independence Day or New Year’s…. well, must be a lot nicer to watch them while it’s cool then when it’s HOT!

It is a bit of a strange tradition Jessica! I love it because it gives me an excuse to toast marshmallows over the fire and make cocktails like this :-)
