Falling in love with LOVEThESIGN

Table 5

One of the things that sealed the deal for me when we moved house was the prospect of outdoor space. As I’ve got older, I want to be outside more, and I don’t want to encounter four flights of a spiral staircase in order to do so. Now, I can open my door and step straight into the garden. In my world, you can’t put a price on that.

Just as my thoughts were turning to garden furniture, LOVEThESIGN got in touch. If LOVEThESIGN isn’t on your radar, it should be. This beautiful online boutique is based in Milan, and specialises in homewares that have Italian design at their heart. From furniture and lighting, to dining and textiles, LOVEThESIGN boasts a range of curated, stylish products. And I want them all.

Bearing that last statement in mind, when LOVEThESIGN got in touch and offered me the opportunity to try out some of their pieces, I jumped at the chance. Although literally everything they stock is envy inducing, I couldn’t pass up the chance to kit out my garden with some outdoor furniture.

I don’t have a big garden, so as much as some of the outdoor seating appealed, I needed something that played to the space I have available. That’s why I opted for the Fermob Bistro round table and Fermob metal chairs. Both come in a range of colours, allowing you to reflect your personality. I opted for Anthracite, which is a rich, dark grey. I am – and always will be – obsessed with grey.

The quality of these products is superior. They’ve also been coated with anti-UV powder so they won’t fade over time and both the chair and table fold away and they are light, meaning you can even take them out on a picnic if you fancied.

I’ve been so impressed with LOVEThESIGN. Their range is superior to a lot of other homeware websites I’ve visited and the products themselves are both stunning to look at and built with such a high quality that they are sure to last the test of time.

Have you heard of LOVEThESIGN? What style of outdoor furniture do you like?

Oh it looks absolutely stunning! And gardens are so important – when I grew up, we had a huge garden with lots of flowers and space to play in. I loved it so much! Now that I’m living in a tenements flat in Glasgow, I really must admit that a garden would be a dream come true…

Outdoor space is really priceless, but I also know myself well enough to admit that while I love the opportunity to step right into my own garden, I’m just too lazy to deal with everything that comes with it, such as lawn mowing:) The bistro table looks really stylish, nice pick! We have something similar on our balcony, but it’s from IKEA, so the quality is a bit so-so.

I know what you mean Mitzie, having a garden is a bit of an effort. I jealous of the sound of your balcony – I would love one of those x
