December to-do list

1 Visit the Devil’s Advocate. The latest edition to the Old Town bar scene, both the food and the cocktails are very impressive.

2 Make some mulled wine. It’s the only time of year you can legitimately drink as much of this warm beverage as you can handle. I’ve got a lovely recipe for you, right over here.

3 Get organised for Christmas day now. I’m cooking for eight people, so for the first time in my life, winging it is not an option. I found this post from AO at Home really helpful for planning the day’s events.

4 Plan a pyjama day. When Christmas day has been and gone, I plan on having an epic day of eating leftovers and watching enough episodes of Breaking Bad to finally discover the fate of Walt White.

5 Enjoy Christmas. Of course, this time of year can be stressful, but that’s what mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas tunes were invented for. Use them to take the edge off – it always works for me!

It really does help. I’m listening to the She & Him Christmas album as I type!
