2016 via Instagram

It’s typical, isn’t it, the moment a break is on the horizon you get sick. After a pretty hardcore few months of home improvements, house selling and general busyness, I’m finally getting some time off. And of course, my body decided that this would be the right time to give me a truly stonking cold, with a side of ear infection. Great.

In a bid to get healthy in time for heading to Venice on Sunday, I’ve been juicing anything that’s green, living a virtuous lifestyle and upping all my nutrients to try to cure this thing before the weekend. Is it working? That remains to be seen, but it’s definitely not getting any worse.

Since I’ve been feeling under the weather all week, I’ve been looking back at the fun times that have been part of 2016 so far and with that here are some of my Instagrams from 2016. Unsurprisingly, most of them are of food.

Insta collageI’m hoping this time next week my feed will be full of shots of gondolas, bridges and maybe even a bellini or two. If you want to keep up with my Venice adventures, you can follow me on Instagram.

Have a great weekend and I’ll be back next week with some Venice posts.

I love looking back over my Instagram posts to remember all of the amazing things that I have done – sometimes life feels so ordinary until you start to look back!

You can never have too many photos of food, I think that’s most of my camera roll! I’m starting to use Instagram more so I’ll check out your Venice pics, I’ve always like the idea of going on a Gondola.

Hope you’re back to normal now!

You can never take too many photos of food. Seriously. Food and animals brings us altogether~!
